H & H Oil Recycling was founded in 1986 by brothers Harold, Don and Calvin Heine. The attitude from the beginning was typical Texas: work hard and take good care of your customers. In 2007, H & H was purchased by Vertex Holdings, LP, a growing environmental recovery and recycling operation with connections to the Cedar Marine Terminal in Baytown, Texas. By merging with Vertex Holdings, LP, it allowed H & H to collect and recycle more products and to better serve the changing public attitudes and desires surrounding conservation and recycling.

As H & H built a solid reputation based on taking care of their customers, Vertex Holdings, LP chose to keep the H & H name and to grow the company on their well laid foundation of stellar customer service. From its start in the Austin area, H & H now serves a large radius around Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, and the Valley.

Harold retired from the business, but Don and Calvin remain fixtures to the many customers that know and respect them. While H & H is still an old style, hard working Texas company, the partnership with Vertex has helped bring our customers state of the art monitoring systems that keep them current on every facet of their used oil and other fluids recycling responsibilities. Our proprietary truck based accounting system allows you to log into your account at anytime and know when used oils were collected by H & H, how much was collected, name of driver that completed the collection, name of the account representative and date of the next scheduled collection. By keeping all manifests accessible online, we minimize the costly impact of keeping up with compliance paperwork for our customers. If you ever need a specific manifest or all manifests, they are accessible around-the-clock from your computer.
